HALF DAY PRIVATE FISHING CHARTER (4 HOURS)

I ALWAYS DO MY BEST TO GET YOU SOME FISH BUT PLEASE NOTE A HALF DAY IS LONG ENOUGH FOR A LOCAL TRIP, WE WONT BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AS FAR TO FIND THE FISH. ON THIS TRIP WE WILL BE FISHING CLOSE AROUND MANA ISLAND, PUKERUA BAY AND TITAHI BAY. THE FISHING CAN BE PATCHY UNLESS IN THE PEAK OF SUMMER (FEB-APRIL) PLEASE KEEP EXPECTATIONS REALISTIC AND FOR THE BEST FISHING EXPERIENCE WE RECOMMEND A FULL DAY CHARTER.

We will target all inshore species including Snapper, Tarakihi, Bluecod, Trevally and much more. 

Fish filleting can be done by the crew on board at the return to the wharf. This will come out of your trip time, meaning if we have an hour of filleting we will return an hour before your trip is due to finish. If you wish to take your fish whole then we can keep fishing and return at the trip end time.

All tackle, bait and berley included as well as tea, coffee and bottled water so just bring a bite to eat and a few beverages if you like.

Please note 8 people fishing is comfortable but can be a little cramped, 6 is perfect.

Anytime is good for fishing! However it’s nearly always hard fishing around a full moon so bear this in mind when booking.
